Fabtech Suspension for Chevy K2500HD and K3500HD Trucks

Fabtech Motorsports is pleased to offer its high performance suspension system for all 01'-04' Chevy K2500HD and K3500HD Trucks.

The front differential has been realigned to eliminate the potential for any front drive shaft vibration. Also incorporated into the system is a steel skid plate. The tubular upper control arms fit into the stock frame pockets with no modification and use high grade urethane bushings. The upper control arms come standard, with double shock mounting tabs for a seamless integration of Fabtech's optional front dual shock hoop system. The front suspension is complete with a one piece tubular crossmember support and impact struts. The torsion bar drop down brackets properly align the torsion bars to the relocated stock lower control arms.

The rear suspension is lifted using a 4" bock kit with 2" add a leaves. The system is completed with rear bump stop brackets and a rear drive shaft carrier bearing drop bracket.

PIAA, a world leader in high-performance lighting products, recently made a bright addition to its already renowned line-up of lamps with the introduction of the PIAA 410 SMR, a versatile, square-shaped driving lamp that features PIAA Multi-Surface Reflector Technology and a PIAA Intense White halogen bulb, announced company Executive Vice President Richard Churchill.

Designed specifically to fit into a square grill or bumper opening – such as a fog lamp replacement on many trucks and SUVs – the PIAA 410 SMR employs a unique design that offers maximum mounting flexibility, including all four sides and two attachment methods.

PIAA engineers ingeniously designed the lamp housing so that the mounting bracket can be rotated to any of the four sides. In addition, it can be mounted to the bracket by either a bolt or with the supplied adhesive mounting pads.

Once in place, the 410 SMR really shines. PIAA’s proprietary Multi-Surface Reflector technology reduces stray light to deliver an extremely focused beam pattern without the use of lens fluting. Illumination comes from a PIAA Intense White Driving 60W halogen bulb (9005) that shines at a brilliant 120W level thanks to PIAA’s XTRA technology. As an added convenience, the bulbs can be replaced without disassembling the lamp housing.

The OEM fog or driving lights found on many trucks and SUVs are often lacking in lighting performance. Replacing stock fogs with PIAA 410 SMRs will greatly improve visibility. The 410 SMRs are an ideal fit for many popular vehicles, including the Ford F150 and Ford Super Duty trucks, the Nissan Titan pickup, and many older vehicles. The PIAA 410 SMR also fits commercial trucks (Class 6, 7, and 8). The 410 lamp is DOT/SAE compliant, street legal.

MSD DashHawk Information Display

Simply connect the DashHawk to the diagnostic port and you have access to over 100 parameters on 11 separate screens. Edge Releases F-Series Evolution Programmer For ’97-’03 4.6L & 5.4L Engines

When Edge Products introduced its ’04-’06 F-150 Evolution programmer earlier this year, electronic tuning technology took a huge leap forward. By closing the loop between programming, data acquisition and display technology, Edge introduced an advanced tuning device that not only increases power, it replaces the need for add-on gauges and functions as a scan tool to diagnose and reset trouble codes. Plus, it has a data-logging capability only found on expensive racecar data acquisition systems.

Now, this same tuning solution is available for ’97-’03 F-series with 4.6L and 5.4L engines, delivering rear wheel power gains of 15 horsepower and 25 ft. lbs. of torque. Three standard power settings ensure maximum performance from selected fuel grades. They include: Transmission Only, Towing and High Performance. Additionally, the Edge Products Evolution programmer will reset speed and rev limiters and adjust for tire size and gear ratio to ensure proper shifting. Advanced tuning features allow you to adjust WOT fuel and timing, shift points and firmness, and even set the idle speed for power pulleys.
The data-logging function enables you to choose up to five of the 14 user-defined parameters to graph at a time, providing 60 seconds of streaming data for your PC. Plus, up to four parameters (such as engine oil and instant miles per gallon) can be viewed on the state-of-the-art gauge display that is mounted in a custom pod that looks factory installed.
Another cool feature of the ’97-’03 Evolution programmer is the onboard performance testing software that records, 0-60mph, quarter-mile, eighth-mile and 60-foot performance tests. Jeep and diesel enthusiasts around the world were excited when Daimler-Chrysler announced the availability of an optional diesel engine in the new Jeep Liberty. Unfortunately, the driving experience didn’t live up to most people’s expectations – poor off-idle response and the ability to accelerate without downshifting were common complaints. Edge Products has solved those issues with its new Jeep Liberty EZ plug-in control module that provides an additional 25 horsepower and 40 ft. lbs. of torque – increasing bottom-end response and driveability at all speeds. Towing capability has been greatly increased too, making the 5000-pound rating less of a strain.
The Edge EZ module fits all Jeep Liberty Common Rail Diesels, and installation is a quick, plug-n-play operation. One of Edge Products’ first diesel tuners was called the Evolution, a hand-held programmer that would reprogram you diesel’s ECU through the OBDII port in less than five minutes. It featured three power levels and amazing power increases. Edge Products New Juice Platinum With Attitude

Edge Product adds even more features to its popular Juice With Attitude line of diesel power modules with integral monitors/controllers. The new Juice Platinum system for the 6.0L Powerstroke increases engine output and monitors powertrain vitals while adding a horde of new attributes, including a Turbo Timer, expanded transmission control and even trouble-code retrieval and clearing.
The Turbo Timer is the latest in a long list of engineered-in Edge safeguards. This feature prolongs turbo life by allowing the truck to run after shut-off for a predetermined time or until a specific EGT is reached. Carryover protective features include automatic defueling to prevent excessive EGT, boost and transmissions slip; cold-start protection; and audible danger-zone warnings for EGT, speed, boost, and engine and trans temp.
Several new automatic-transmission controls are included in the Juice Platinum With Attitude. Shift firmness and torque converter lock-up points are now user-selectable, as are defueling percentages to prevent slip during shifts and converter lock-up.
Also new in the Platinum series is diagnostic capability. This new Edge 6.0L system can read, describe and delete Check Engine codes. Speed-related function are also expanded: The Juice Platinum With Attitude removes the factory speed limiter (for race applications only) and captures 0-60 MPH and quarter-mile acceleration times. It can also be programmed to show correct road speed when using non-stock tires or axle gears.
Under the hood, the Juice Platinum module adds up to 100 extra HP and 240 ft-lb of torque, spread over five power levels. The Attitude controller allows switching between power modes on-the-fly. The Attitude is also a powertrain monitor, using an LCD screen to show the same information as a full set of aftermarket gauges, including: RPM, boost, EGT, engine time on, engine and trans oil temps, coolant temp, intake air temp, load and throttle percentages, trans-slip percentage and converter lock.
